227 Pro-Housing Organizations Thank Congress for the Biggest Federal Housing Bill in a Generation
WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Today, a coalition of 227 pro-housing organizations led in part by Inclusive Abundance Action sent a letter to U.S. House and Senate leadership thanking them for passing the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the most significant federal housing legislation in 30 years. The bill now heads to the President’s desk.
These signatories – a collection of YIMBY advocates, abundance groups, housing experts, and industry groups – have repeatedly come together to press Congress for a stronger bill. In the letter, they praised leaders on both sides of the aisle for delivering a compromise package that does what matters most: get more homes built and bring down costs.
